Jaén, a land of castles

I'm Hacienda Brujuelo. I'm an old home in the heart of Jaén.

Do you know where Jaén is?

I'm in Spain, the sunny country in south Europe. I rest in Andalucía, the sunniest place of all in the south of Spain. That makes two south. The south of the south.

Jaén is a great place to live! We have great mountains! This place is just like a fortress! Humans in Jaén used to like to build great castles in the mountains like this

Humans in Jaén do love castles! Here lives with me like 400 castles, fortress, towers and walls. That makes the largest number of them in whole Europe!

But I'm not a castle. I'm quite old, but not as old as them. And I'm very strong! But not stronger than a castle. I'm just like 250 years old and I'm not living in a top of a mountain but in an amazing, huge olive tree forest.

I'm in love with my land and I want to tell you so many stories I have about it that I can't wait! But I will, and I'll tell you something every week (more or less, sometimes old houses can be so lazy!).
